Part-Time Registered Nurse or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
The Children’s Home has an opening for a part-time Registered Nurse or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – 20 hours/week. Applicant must hold a current license as a Registered Nurse or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the State of Maryland Board of Nursing. Prior experience working with youth in a psychiatric setting and/or experience in community health systems is required. This position is responsible for administering medical care, medications, and treatments in accordance with physician orders. Some evening & weekend hours are required.
Child Care Specialist (CCS)
Child Care Specialists are responsible for monitoring resident behavior and activity and relaying appropriate information to member of each resident’s multi-disciplinary team. The CCS is responsible for following each resident’s program plan to ensure that the therapeutic, educational, and personal needs of all residents are met. The CCS is responsible for following TCH procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the residential and education programs and the safety and health of all residents.
Requirement minimums:
CCS I
Associate’s degree with at least two years of experience working with emotionally disturbed children or applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years or child development experience.
CCS II
BA/BS degree in an appropriate human services, education, or health field.
