Child Care Specialist - CCS II
Child Care Specialists are responsible for monitoring resident behavior and activity and relaying appropriate information to member of each resident’s multi-disciplinary team. The CCS is responsible for following each resident’s program plan to ensure that the therapeutic, educational, and personal needs of all residents are met. The CCS is responsible for following TCH procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the residential and education programs and the safety and health of all residents. CCS II position requires a BA/BS degree in an appropriate human services, education, or health field.
Registered Nurse or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
The Nurse position requires a current license as a Registered Nurse or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the State of Maryland Board of Nursing. Prior experience working with youth in a psychiatric setting and/or experience in community health systems is required. This position is responsible for administering medical care, medications, and treatments in accordance with physician orders. Some evening & weekend hours are required.
Social Worker
A full-time Social Worker (LGSW) position is available in The Children's Home Treatment Foster Care Program. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of a child’s treatment in foster care, liaison with team members in the community, and some licensing duties. Requirements include experience with treatment foster care, training, and supervision.
